Brendan Mahoney
Founder / Board

Brendan Mahoney is a Senior Vice President and Head of Insurance and Intermediary Sold Retirement Plan Sales at American Funds Distributors, part of Capital Group. He began his career in the investment industry in 1992 and has been with American Funds since 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth College.

Brendan grew up in Sudbury, attended the Sudbury Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional HS. He is passionate about supporting the youth athletic programs and has served on the LS Youth Baseball Board, the Sudbury Youth Soccer Board and the board of STARS – Student Athletes Rising.

In addition to his passion for supporting veteran’s based charities, he enjoys spending time with his family especially skiing with his wife, Lauren, and his son, Michael. He also loves coaching his son’s sports teams.

Todj Gozdeck
Founder / Board

Todj Gozdeck is a financial professional focusing his time leading the M&A services practice at Citrin Cooperman. He has a proven track record of successfully completing transactions on behalf of his clients. Todj’s current and past community activities include his work as the Chairman of the Town of Sudbury Parks and Recreation Commission, a member of his church’s Nominating Committee and President of Lincoln Sudbury Youth Football and Cheer. When not at work, Todj likes to spend his time in Sudbury with his family watching his boys play lacrosse and football or on the beach or at the golf course. Todj is a proud graduate of UConn. Go Huskies!

Mike Cavanaugh
Board

Mike is a managing director at Westwicke partners, a nationally recognized investor relations consulting firm focusing on assisting healthcare companies achieve their growth plans. He has over 20 years experience in financial services in various business development and research roles. He holds a bachelors degree in economics from Trinity College and an MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University.

Originally from Holyoke, Massachusetts, Mike has lived in Sudbury since 2003 with his wife and three sons. Mike’s community activities include membership in the Knights of Columbus and serving as president of Friends of LS Boys Rugby, a local nonprofit. In his free time he has enjoyed coaching his boys in baseball basketball and rugby, and has served the Boys Scouts of America as an adult Scout Leader since 2007.

Steve Brackett
Board

Steve Brackett has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry primarily focused in private equity, fund development and management, direct investing, investment banking and fund distribution, and structured finance. Steve currently works with and holds equity in select global asset management and specialized advisory firms in a Senior Advisor role. His activities in this role consist of strategic business development initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, product development and positioning, fund management and investment committee participation.

Tim Burge
Board

Tim Burge has 17 years in the financial services field specializing in mutual fund operations. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having deployed to Bosnia in support of Operation Joint Endeavor and Guard. A 12 year resident of Sudbury with his wife Lisa and son Kyle. He enjoys coaching his son’s basketball team and taking advantage of the local trails and lakes.

Kevin F. Dolan
Board

Kevin F. Dolan is a Senior Business Development manager at Capital Group. He has 19 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for four years. Prior to joining Capital, he served as a retirement specialist at Merrill Lynch. Before that, he worked in institutional retirement for Bank of America and was a national sales manager for Columbia Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Kevin grew up in Sudbury with his six siblings, attending Sudbury schools and graduating in 1992 from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Kevin has been a coach for many of the youth programs in town, Including Lacrosse, Baseball and Flag football.

In addition to his passion for supporting veteran’s based charities, Kevin enjoys spending time with his 3 children, Liam (9), Emmet (7) and Claire (4), on the ball fields, the shores of Lewis Bay and in the community.

Tim Dolan
Board

Tim Dolan is the Global Director of Indirect Sourcing for Boston Scientific and located at the headquarters in Marlborough, MA. Tim has 21 years of management, procurement and strategic sourcing experience in both public and private sectors. Prior to Boston Scientific, Tim was Head of Procurement for Nuance Communications, a Group Purchases Manager for P&G, and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within The Gillette Company’s Global Procurement Organization. He also spent two years with A.T. Kearney consulting to Fortune 500 companies on sourcing strategies and initiatives and served in the US Navy as a supply officer onboard the USS PELELIU. He received his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard College. Tim grew up in Sudbury with his six siblings, attending Sudbury schools and graduating in 1990 from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Tim has been a coach for many of the youth programs in town, including lacrosse, baseball and hockey.

In addition to his commitment to veteran’s based charities, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Shannon and 2 children, T.J. (8) and Jack (6), on the ball fields, and playing in men’s basketball and ice hockey leagues.

Andrew S. Goodman
Board

Andrew is a Partner at Infusion Global Partners. He has 20 years of investment and trading experience working in investment banking and hedge funds both in New York and Boston. Andrew has a proven track record in investments and trading global markets. He has worked for a broad range of financial institutions, including Matrix Capital, Lehman Brothers and U.S. Trust. Andrew is a speaker on industry panels and he mentors young professionals building their careers. He is a graduate of the University at Albany Business School and holds an MBA from Pace University.

Andrew lives in Sudbury with his wife Rachel and two sons. In his free time Andrew enjoys traveling, skiing in the white mountains, relaxing on the Cape and coaching youth soccer in Sudbury.

Brian Mahoney
Board

Brian Mahoney is the owner of a local Pillar-To-Post Home Inspectors Franchise. Raised in Sudbury, Massachusetts, Brian attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and Bates College, in Lewiston, Maine, where he graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Before serving our country for nearly 12 years in the Marine Corps as an officer and pilot, Brian was a substitute teacher and athletic coach in the Sudbury Public School System. He is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Sudbury for Wounded Warriors and help this outstanding organization bring awareness and provide support for our brave servicemen and women in need.

Lauren Mahoney
Board

Lauren Mahoney is a lifelong Sudbury resident. She attended the Sudbury Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. She went on to attend the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Upon graduation, she began a career in sales at a subsidiary of Osaka, Japan based Settsu Corporation where she was routinely ranked as one of the top performers in the US among over 1000 sales people. She moved on to help run Nemschoff of New England, a healthcare furniture distributor, based in Boston, MA.

She has been actively involved with Sudbury for Wounded Warriors since its inception in addition to helping many other local charities including the Haynes Parent Teacher Organization.

She enjoys spending time with her family especially skiing with her son, Michael, and husband, Brendan. One of her favorite pastimes is going for hikes with her family and the family dog, Duffy.

Steve Melz
Board

Steve Melz is a Senior Financial Advisor with The Barcomb Group, a nationally-ranked investment management team for Merrill Lynch in Boston. Originally from northern New Jersey, Steve worked in New York City for several years before career opportunities with ABN-AMRO and J.P. Morgan took him to Chicago, San Francisco and finally to Boston. Steve also serves on the board of the Red, White, and Blue Alliance for the Home Base Program in Boston.

Jon Sullivan
Board

Jon Sullivan is an associate Vice President with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management located in Boston. His over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry has helped him to successfully work in tandem with his clients to assist with financial planning and investment management.

Jon’s and his wife, Jennifer, have a history of military service in their family. His father servedin the U.S. Army and his wife’s mother and father both served in the USMC. The appreciation for their service as well as others is what motivated him in joining the Sudbury for Wounded Warriors organization as a board member.

Originally from Stoughton, Jon and Jennifer chose Sudbury to raise their young children, Michael and Grace. When outside of work, Jon spends his free time as a volunteer coach for his children’s youth sports teams as well as supporting local events and charities.

Brendan O’Sullivan
Board

Brendan O’Sullivan holds a national sales role at ServiceNow, delivering application development services to the Life Sciences Industry. He began his career in technology sales at Computer Sciences Corporation in Los Angeles. Over the years, Brendan grew revenue at several emerging technology companies in competitive markets leading the companies to public offerings and acquisitions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth College and served as a captain of the men’s basketball team.

Brendan grew up in Clifton Park, New York, the youngest of five children. He and his wife Jocelyn live in Sudbury and have three children in Sudbury schools. In addition to coaching in the Sudbury Youth Basketball program, his past and present community commitments include fundraising for regional food banks in the Northeast, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Special Olympics.

Outside of working hours, Brendan enjoys non-fiction reading, hiking, traveling with his family and has a relatively new found passion for golf.
